The Five Simplest Ways To Chakra Balancing

Chakra balancing is an important practice when becoming the strongest woman you can be! Having all seven of your chakras flowing at optimal level anchors you into spirit and puts you into a place of creation, love and communication with yourself and everyone around you. Spiritually speaking--balancing your chakras is the easiest path to overcoming your daily obstacles as it forms an inner support system that anchors you into your spiritual self. Anyone on a spiritual journey to self-improvement should have chakra balancing at the top of the list!

I’ve created a list of 5 of the simplest ways to chakra balancing using different methods I’ve used in the past to keep my energy centers flowing and alive. Go through the list and start where it feels right.

  1. Essential oils for Chakra Balancing: Your energy centers are just that--energy. And because of that, they react lovingly towards other certain energies and essences. Specifically essential oils. Essential oils are pure essences from the earth that nurture your body and your soul. It’s important when using essential oils to use the right oils in order to work with the energy of your chakras. 2. Chakra Stones: Chakra stones work to balancing your chakras through energy balancing as with essential oils. The vibrations from specific stones create balance within each chakra through chakra placement or simply wearing chakra jewelry to promote balance. Energy healing using stones creates potent vibrations. They’re strong and the shift is undeniable. Using crystals has always been my favorite when I just want to lay back let the stones do the work. 3. Breathwork: Chakra balancing is all about energy flow. The more flow you allow into your chakras, the more balanced they become. You can open up your chakras by focusing on each one and allowing energy to enter. This is a technique I use daily within my own energy centers. Simply take the time to focus on each chakra and breathe through them. Tune into each one with focused attention to create that flow. Focused attention creates that balance. One of my partners Stephanie does a great job showing you the exact steps here. What I love about her program is she also shows you specific yoga positions to practice along with the breathwork. 4. Reiki: Reiki is a favorite for me. I’ve been practicing Reiki since experiencing Kundalini Awakening a few years ago, and I know hands on the amount of balance Reiki creates.

So what is Reiki? John Hopkins Medicine calls it a very specific form of energy healing, in which hands are placed just off the body or lightly touching the body, as in “laying on of hands” (source).

Reiki is a type of permission slip. It allows balancing to happen within your chakras through universal energy. When you allow universal energy to come into yourself you’re allowing for more flow. (It’s kind of like using drano on clogged pipes, except its God energy opening up the clogs.) Really good stuff.

Becoming attuned to the specific energy is a pretty simple process. Pure Reiki Healing is what I recommend for learning, and becoming attuned to the energy. 5. Yoga: Yoga is the practice of stretching and movement in a way that allows your energy to flow smoothly throughout your body. Yoga is my favorite form of exercise since it balances mind work with body work. It’s a type of moving meditation. The best thing is you can do specific body work to allow for flow within your specific chakras. One of my favorite Yoga teachers is Adrienne. She makes yoga easy and fun. Balancing your chakras is all about allowing more flow into your life. Your chakras are the deepest part of you. They are your base. A great way to allow more flow is to simply sit in meditation and ask yourself, “How can I flow more today?” Trust the answers that come. You know what’s best for you!
